Rogue in Days of Future Past? Plus who is the top grossing actor of 2013

For all the fans of Anna Paquin’s Rogue, the Rogue from the original X-Men trilogy, there is some sad news. Rogue was only in one scene in the upcoming Days of Future Past movie, and it appears that the scene has been cut from the movie. Director Bryan Singer said the following: “Through the editing process, the sequence became extraneous. It’s a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it. But like many things in the editing process, it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go. Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in. Even though she’s in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won’t appear in it.”  So as it seems, Rogue will only be able to be seen on the blu-ray/DVD. Personally, I thought she was a bit annoying myself, so there isn’t any real hard feelings of her not being in Days of Future Past. However, Rogue is one of my favorite X-Men characters and I would love to see her in the movie, but seeing that she is just a teenager in the original trilogy, reason would dictate that she was not around when they go back in time. Darn. However, do not get too upset Rogue fans, she could very well if not most likely appear in Age of Apocalypse.

In other news, Dwayne Johnson has taken home to top grossing actor of 2013 award. However, in second place was Steve Carell, and he recently had a little movie that came out called Anchorman 2, so I will wait to post about this until we get closer to the end of the year.
